Along-track altimeter measurements - available to users

The Sea Level ECV products consist of monthly maps of sea level anomalies and associated mean sea level trends.

As part of the project's scientific activities, the Sea Level CCI project team have been able to provide the Climate Research Group with along-track altimeter measurements from several altimeter missions (TOPEX-Poseidon, ERS-1 & 2, Envisat, Jason-1 & 2) to assess the quality of the Sea Level ECV products using assimilation techniques. Our fifth newsletter is now available for download. In this new version we take a look back at some of the successes and highlights of our first 3 years (Phase 1) and go on to present our plans for the next 3 years (Phase 2).

Over the last 3 years, the Sea Level CCI team have collectively published in excess of 80 publications, in the form of peer reviewed articles, conference proceedings & communications and as technical reports.

Sea Level CCI - Phase 1 completed, Phase 2 begins

It's an incredibly exciting time for the Sea Level CCI project team. The first 3 years (2011 - 2013) of the project activities are now complete and a new chapter is underway taking the team into the next 3 year phase.
