The SLCCI project is now one year old and held it's first annual review meeting in Toulouse on 19th/20th Sept. 

The first day of the meeting started with a summary of the main achievements of the first year, followed by an update of the wider CCI programme,  and a news update on the Mean Sea Level trend by our lead scientist, Anny Cazenave. This was followed by presentations from the Systems analysis (WP5) team, and rounded off by a series of presentations on the WP2 Algorithms Results and associated Round Robin Data Package (RRDP) and a discussion of the impacts on Sea Level. 

The second day started with discussions around:

  • User Requirement and CMUG, with feedback from CMUG member, T. Phulpin.
  • Use of the altimetry products by climate and ocean models, by D. Stammer
  • New version of the URD, by J. Johannessen

The remainder of the meeting continued with further presentations summarising the WP2 activities Algorithms Results and associated Round Robin Data Package (RRDP).
